Frequently Asked Questions
How will I get paid?
Regular season meets will get paid after each meet by each school with paper vouchers. Postseason meets will be assigned by Section V and paid through ArbiterPay.
What is ArbiterPay?
ArbiterPay allows Section V to load your payment onto your account immediately after a Sectionals meet. If you work Sectionals, you will need to set up ArbiterPay to withdraw your money. There are multiple free and paid options to withdraw, including direct deposit, paper check, and prepaid debit card.
Why does my assignment show that this meet is unpaid?
Payment amounts are not loaded into Arbiter. If you are assigned a meet, you will still get paid per the standard fee schedule.
My meet got moved and now I'm assigned two meets on the same day. What do I do?
Log into Arbiter and decline one of the two assignments. The assignor will schedule a different official in that slot.
My meet got moved to a date I'm not available but it still shows I'm assigned. What do I do?
Log into Arbiter and decline the assignment. The assignor will schedule a different official in that slot.
I can't work a meet I was assigned to but I already accepted my assignment, how do I decline the meet?
If the meet is more than 2 weeks out, you can turnback the assignment from the schedule page on Arbiter. If it's less than that, contact the assignor (Karen Ocque) directly. The more notice, the better!
